Description
Offered here is Sun Records, number 234, "Honey Don't" and "Blue Suede Shoes", both by Carl Perkins. There are no chips, cracks etc. The Honey Don't side has a scratch like mark that is easily seen and felt. (More like a long, skinny depression). To my surprise this "mark" in the playing surface absolutely Does Not play or make any noises. At all. No repeating pops, clicks etc. The mark is 100% inaudible. The record is a good player. On both sides. Thanks for taking a peek!
The record will be securely packed between several layers of double corrugated cardboard, one cut out for the disc. The few discs I've sold in the past generally arrived in great shape. However, the Post Office is sometimes unpredictable. Therefore, each shipment has a handling charge that is the cost of insurance and all shipments will be insured. Anything beyond basic insurance, I will pay for.
NOTE: I'm primarily a cylinder collector. (Have hundreds of the little beasts!). Through the years I've also sometimes purchased discs for their content, condition, apparent rarity or they were just plain cheap!! At age 61 I've gotten tired of lugging these discs through life. As none of my kids has the slightest interest in these old recordings, I've decided its time to start getting rid of some of them. Over the months they will be offered, more or less in the order that they surface from my barn and storage shed. (They have not been offered locally nor have they been picked through).
