This is the band where Sturgill Simpson got his start - Sunday Valley, featuring Edgar Purdom on drums, Gerald Evans on bass and background vocals, and Billy Mason on lead guitar. This is their first EP, recorded in Kentucky and featuring the songs they were known for, like Sometimes Wine, Jesus Boogie, and Folded Flag. This EP is impossible to find. And this one is even more rare because it contains two songs not on every copy of their EP - Cut The Sails and Bloody Breathitt. If you are a fan of Sturgill Simpson, this is an essential part of his history and an all too rare collector's item.
