Rare gospel gem from the Sunrise Trio—an all-Christian group from Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church in Bulls Gap, Tennessee—this is their debut album You've Been An Inspiration To Me. Released on Tri-State Recording Company, catalog TSRC-701087, and recorded in Kingsport, Tennessee, this LP delivers heartfelt harmonies and uplifting Southern gospel.

Rev. Charles E. Smith sings bass, Oral Baughard sings lead, Wallace Officer sings alto, Earl Hawkins plays piano, and Reece Baughard handles electric guitar. Paul Livingston provides the percussion brushwork. Includes full credits and a personal dedication to Rev. Corbin Allen Flanary. Beautifully sincere and spiritually rich, this record captures the authentic spirit of grassroots gospel.

The Sunrise Trio presents their first album, You've Been An Inspiration To Me, with the prayer that each song may prove to be an inspiration to each listener.

The Sunrise Trio are all Christians, and members of the Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church, Bulls Gap, Tennessee. Rev. Charles E. Smith, sings bass; Oral Baughard, lead; Mrs. Wallace Officer, alto; Mrs. Earl Hawkins, piano; and Reece Baughard, electric guitar. Paul Livingston played the drum brushes on several songs in this album.

Although it has not been an easy road, the Trio has received and tried to share with their friends and listeners everywhere, many blessings given them from their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is the prayer of this Trio that this album will be an inspiration to all of God’s people everywhere and bring glory and honor to the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We, the Sunrise Trio, dedicate this album to Rev. Corbin Allen Flanary; through his encouragement this album was made.
