Here’s an ORIGINAL copy of The Thunderbirds LP “MEET The Fabulous THUNDERBIRDS” on RED FEATHER RECORDS RFS-TH-1 in STEREO. This is an ultra rare, raw garage punk album made by four American Indian high school kids from New Mexico back in 1965! This is one of the rarest US garage LPs, not too many of these are around. The band consists of 3 guitars, drums, and vocals. The lead signer has great vocals and the guitar work is excellent! 13 tracks are contained on this garage monster LP, all can be seen in the pictures provided. This band was heavily influenced by Chuck Berry. This is evident by the cover versions they do and their style of playing. The best thing about this LP is the condition! The cover is Near Mint! There is only some very light soiling in the bottom right corner, which can hardly be seen. Other than that the cover looks brand new! The record itself is also Near Mint! Just a few hairlines that don’t affect play. The spindle hole doesn’t even show signs of wear! I have placed a modest reserve on this ultra rare album. Don’t pass this one up as it doesn’t come up for sale too often. Good Luck!
Grading Scale:
NM = A near perfect record in every way. Record shows no obvious signs of wear.
VG+ = Record has been played, but previous owner took good care of it. Record will have light scuffs or light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. VERY little to no background/surface noise will be heard while the record is playing.
VG = Light to moderate Background/surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's fade and intro. This background noise will not overpower the music otherwise, however. Groove wear and light scratches (deep enough to affect sound) will be noticeable. Still a nice record.
G/G+ = Significant surface noise upon playing. Scratches and visible groove wear will be evident. Record will play through without skipping or sticking however.
Fair/Poor = I do not ever sell records at this grade, but they would be cracked, severly warped, with skips or sticks, or have obvious signs of HEAVY play. Basically it will serve better as a coaster than a record.
