Super RARE original DJ only promo, mixes 'Mylo - Drop The Pressure' with 'Miami Sound Machine - Dr. Beat' feat. Gloria Estefan on vocals. Was released later on Breastfed Recordings as 'Mylo vs. Miami Sound Machine - Doctor Pressure'
A superb re-work/remix of a classic 1980's tune by Miami Sound Machine, feat. Gloria Estefan on vocals, that would get any crowd into house music hair standing on end. With a punchy original bass line by Mylo (drop the pressure) mixed with smooth, well flowing vocals by Gloria Estefan, the remix has infused 2 totally different genres and musical era's to perfection, thus giving a retro feel to a modern bassy beat.
Originally the mix as we know it was done by Phil N' Dog, but later was released under Mylo's record label Breastfed Recordings, with the title being changed to ''Mylo Vs. Miami Sound Machine - Doctor Pressure'' with no mention in the credits of Phil N' Dog being the original re-mixers. The remix version was very popular on the underground club scene and ''word of mouth'' helped it invaded the mainstream market with a big presence, so much so that the original version by Phil N' Dog was re-signed and deal done leading to Breastfed Recordings and Mylo owning rights to the remix. As they now hold the rights to the remix, they could release and re-brand it, selling to the public in mass and on all formats.
It never stopped there....Breastfed Recordings were on a war path, by using any means possible wanted to have every copy of this particular limited edition vinyl destroyed, by contacting records shop to delete all copies, and intervening in Internet transactions with legal action if item is bought and so on...very devious on breastfed records part. All this was in aid of keeping the original producers of the remix hidden away, and crediting it all to Mylos as his own remix.
This is a true classic, addictive vinyl that id recommend anyone to, as this one record that more stories to it then just the writing on the label!!

So as a bit of backstory, I’m retired from the music business after spending over 20 years touring Europe and after getting all my stuff shipped to Florida, I finally have the time to sift through it.

Records: I’m a collector and fan, not an expert, I don’t really understand the grades but I’ll be honest about the condition as best I can, the vast majority of my records have been owned since new and all where shipped over from the UK, they have always been kept in proper vinyl storage boxes indoors, being a music professional for 20 years I respect the media so whilst most of these vinyls have been played and possible toured, they should still be in great condition.

These vinyls have NOT been cleaned! This may seem like a strange thing to put but its important as many sellers will run a cheap glass cleaner over the record to make them look shinier in the photos and hide any imperfections, I do not do this, the record is photoed as is, with dust and all in tact haha, most of these vinyls I have used and potentially toured with, as such they will have signs of use, please look at the detailed photos for a more accurate understanding of the condition or simply ask me and I’ll do my best too help, send more photos or videos etc.

They will be shipped in proper vinyl record mailers using media mail. Also I’ll combine postage on multiple records, you’ll only pay what it actually costs to send them! :-)

I appreciate some are rare so if anyone needs an audio clip of the record please just ask and I’ll organise that for you.

I’ll probably end up parting with maybe half my collection so please check my other auctions and come back from time to time to see what’s new!
