BBC TRANSCRIPTION DISC CATALOGUE NUMBER 128660/128662

Genuine BBC Transcription disc released on the original Green/Yellow/White labels. This is a super rare piece of Beatles memorabillia and should not be missed. 

On Side 2 is part two of the interview with George Martin entitled "The Beatles" it continues from the perspective of George Martin and includes the songs; Eleanor Rigby (in which there is a small click), Yesterday, Strawberry Fields Forever, A Day In The Life & Because. The interview ends talking about Abbey Road which would suggest to me that these two discs date from 1969/70.

On Side 1 is a programme entitled "A Story Of Our Time: Brian Jones" which is all about the life and times of the late Stones guitarist. The programme is introduced by Michael Whale and includes various people talking about Brian including; Lewis Jones (Father), Cliff Richard, Mick Jagger, Alexis Corner & Michael Aldrid. This interview includes a very grainy version of 'The Last Time' and the show begins with the end of 'Satisfaction'.

The the labels are in Near Mint condition with hardly any spindle markings at all. The record looks to have had very minimal play and looks superb.
