Description
Even many hard core Motown collectors have never come across a copy of this one.
PSRS 319a.
This is basically an invitation to journalists to attend a party thrown by EMI to celebrate The Supremes being in town to perform at the Royal Command Performance in 1968.
The record begins with The Supremes performing Love Child and then cuts to "Ken East" who invites you to attend a special event to meet and greet The Supremes on 19th November 1968.
The label doesn't say much apart from "this record was pressed specially for....." and I guess the journalists name would have been written in the space alloted. This one has no name written in.
Never seen this for sale before though I think John manship auctioned one a few years back.
Condition is excellent with a few very minor crackles. I will post up a sound clip as soon as possible.
