Superb 78 RPM of Cliff Richard "Move It" on Columbia DB4178
I am finally going to start selling my collections of 78s!
This copy of "Move It" by Cliff Richard and The Drifters was his first hit. It is backed by "Schoolboy Crush" on the "B" side.
I have taken a photo of the playing surface of "Move It" in the light. There are a few TINY marks, but this plays all the way through on my excellent test equipment with NO pops or crackles!!
I believe this plainer Columbia cover was earlier than the blue and white one often shown with this record?
I'll be sad to see these go, but hope they go to a good home..........................
My posting will be overkill (hence the price!) as I am going to use rigid foam insulation made into a large box, which is how I store 78s.
If somehow the record is broken on arrival, please take a photograph with the packing. For rare records, I might still ask for a return to be made.
This record in this condition has fetched £40 previously on Ebay, but I am starting my auction at half this price!
