Only released in France in 1967, The Smoke were on the edge of a UK hit (it made number 1 in Germany!) with the lead track, when it was withdrawn by EMI following allegations that it promoted drug use! I don't know anything about other test press of this 4 tracks ep, but I never heard about another one...
CONDITION OF THIS RECORD :
Vinyl : Test press labels. Vinyl is visually really very clean, beautiful & still shiny, without any suspect trace (it looks great but it doesn't mean it's mint), and it sounds excellent, strongly great (ex, better than the original ep, I have a copy) ! But just listen carefully to long extracts to make your own opinion. Don't hesitate for any question or details !!!
Picture Sleeve : This is the original EP ps, but this test press vinyl was not in a picture sleeve. I give this original picture sleeve because I already have it with the french ep. This sleeve is still in very good condition with writing on back, but just look at the pictures with attention (you can enlarge) to make your own opinion and ask for more !

I usually don’t use the grading system, because of too many disputes and different interpretations (some say vg for vg+, some others say nm for ex, and finally, nobody really knows ! That’s why I prefer you to look at pictures which you can enlarge and please, listen to extracts !
