I follow the Record Collector Grading System in describing thecondition of my sale items.
Record Collector Grading System
Record Collector Grading System (withadditional grades that I have added)
Mt = Mint: Never been played or item still sealed. Cover and any extraitems such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster (ie contents) are in perfectcondition.
Mt- = Near Mint: In brand new condition with no surface marksor deterioration in sound quality. Cover and contents nearly perfect.
Ex = Excellent: Shows some signs of being played but there is verylittle lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents might have slight wearand/or creasing.
VG+ = Better than Very Good: Obviously been played but nosignificant deterioration in sound quality despite light surface marks. Verylittle wear and tear on cover and contents, without any major defects.
VG = Very Good: Obviously been played many times but no majordeterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasionallight scratch. Normal wear and tear on cover or contents, without any majordefects.
Gd+ = Better than Good: Sound quality has deteriorated butwith no distortion. Light scratches and occasional mild scratch. Cover andcontents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges but not spine splits ordiscoloration.
Gd = Good: Sound quality has noticably deteriorated, perhaps withsome distortion. Mild scratches. Cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
Fair: Still just playable but has not been cared for properly anddisplays considerable surface noise - it may even jump. Cover and contents willbe torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor: Will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.Cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Vinyl – Very Good – The vinyl plays well, though there is theoccasional mark/very light surface mark
Outer Sleeve – Excellent - No rips, tears, folds or creases. There is minimal discoloration as the record has been kept in a PVC sleeve since new.
Inner Sleeve – Excellent – No rips, tears or creases.
This record is sold with a protective PVC for increased protection frompossible damage in transit.
Thisrecord will also be sent with solid cardboard packaging and stiffeners byCovers 33.
