Description
Superiors – ‘I’m Sorry Baby (I Didn’t Mean To Do You Wrong)’ / ‘Dance of Love’ – King 12436 (US)
These are two great sides back-to-back; the A-side a hard-driving New Breed R&B dancer, the flip a gorgeous ballad with doo wop overtones. Of the group I know nothing, but King/Federal’s staff writer Sonny Thompson wrote more great R&B tunes than you could shake a stick at, and these are two of them! Top copy of this rare disc, too. Don’t miss it!
Condition: VG+ or perhaps a notch better; about as good as these somewhat primitive pressings get (please listen to the clips). Clean labels save for some sticker residue on the ‘Sorry Baby’ side (please see scans).
Please send payment within three days after auction close. Will not be held responsible for uninsured parcels.
Shipping 1-2 singles: USD $8.00 to European destinations; USD $10.00 to the rest of the world. Shipping 3-5 singles: $11.50 to Europe; $13.00 to the rest of the world. Registered and insured shipping (with a tracking number) is an additional USD $11.00 per parcel to cover a total value not exceeding $80.00. The additional charge for registered and insured shipping covering a total value of up to circa $1,500.00, which is the maximum, is USD $16.00. Please get in touch for further combined shipping rates.
Shipping from Sweden is expensive – though the rest of the world is surely catching up, not least the US – not least due to the fact that the weight increments are few and far apart, but it’s usually swift and safe.
American bidders, kindly note that shipping to the US is not US $4.00; this is eBay’s default setting and not applicable as I am based in Sweden. Please wait for my invoice. Thank you!
Happy to answer any questions. Please see my other auctions with many rare soul items this week.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
