Description

Superman No. 1 "The Flying Train" 1947 12-page comic book with 2 unbreakable records (this is a Flexi-disc, heavy cardboard 78-rpm, mono, fully playgraded (to make sure there are no skips), clean labels, mfd. by Musette Records / Steinway Hall (New York), the records contain the voices of the original radio cast; this complete 78-year old set is in VG to EXC condition with no problems; the staples in the spine are tight and intact with minimal browning/corrosion, there are no dog-eared pages, virtually no creases to the cover (see photos), and minimal agewear/foxing; on the opening page in the top right corner is a very small penciled #6 10 which is probably from an old antique mall booth - see photo 4 with magnification, no writing marks anywhere; what is also supercool is that both records are housed in thin clear plastic inner sleeves (I doubt they are original to the set but show the care a previous owner had for this item); not particularly hard to find this item but difficult to find in top condition (I usually grade vinyl and am not necessarily experienced in grading comic books).  U.S. buyer to pay $5.00 media shipping (priority available upon request).  International buyer: I use Ebay International shipping.  Insurance at the discretion of the buyer.
