Description

SUPERTRAMP - 'BREAKFAST IN AMERICA'

1982 MFSL ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING LP

Beginning this week, I am listing a comprehensive & Near Mint collection of MFSL Original Master Recording LPs. All are the property of one collector who played them only once to transfer them to DAT and then carefully stored them away.

Original Master Recordings were manufactured by 'Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab' (MFSL). Each disc was half-speed-mastered from the original master tapes and pressed by the 'Victor Company of Japan' (JVC') on 'Super Vinyl'.

All are custom packaged in heavy-duty album jackets, supported by a rigid cardboard stiffener. The disc itself is protected within a unique static-free rice-paper inner-sleeve. All titles were limited editions and represent the finest sounding vinyl pressing of each title.

This title was released by MFSL in 1982 with the catalogue number: MFSL 1-045

Matrix numbers: MFSL-1-045-A3 & MFSL-1-045-B6

Cutting Engineer initials in run-out: 'SR' (Stan Ricker)

Labels: EXCELLENT +

Clean & bright with just a small handful of spindle marks to each centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Immaculate unmarked surfaces in strong daylight with only a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.

Play: NEAR MINT

Played only a handful of times by its original owner and checked once by me, this copy sounds 'as new' with no audible faults or wear or any kind throughout.

Sleeve

EXCELLENT

Strong & clean but with bumping to the corners, but no further significant or major faults.
