I am selling off my personal collection of original UK first pressing vinyl albums to supplement a house move. It's sad to see them go but I need the money for essential repairs. I have adopted the Record Collector magazine’s Grading Guide to describe the condition and I have also play-checked each album, so you can be confident about buying. The pictures are also of the actual album you are bidding on.

Supertramp “Crime Of The Century”
A Genuine Original 1974 UK 1st Pressing Vinyl LP on the A&M record label with the laminated record sleeve and original lyrics sheet.

Description and Track List
This was Supertramp’s third album and their first commercial breakthrough in both the UK and the US. Due in part to the UK hit "Dreamer" and the U.S. hit "Bloody Well Right" it made the UK Top 10 album chart and a US Top 40 album chart, eventually being certified Gold in the US in 1977. This was the first of Supertramp's albums to feature drummer Bob Siebenberg (at the time credited as Bob C. Benberg), woodwinds player John Anthony Helliwell, bassist Dougie Thomson, and co-producer Ken Scott. The album was dedicated "To Sam" (top left of sleeve back), which was the nickname of Stanley August Miesegaes, the Dutch millionaire, who supported the band financially from 1969–72.

This Original sound recording is a UK first pressing identifiable by the Catalogue Ref: AMLS 68258. It was issued with a printed lyrics insert (present) and has the laminated record sleeve printed and made in England by MacNeill Press Ltd., London SE1' with the title in yellow text. (There is another version with a semi-glossy sleeve printed by Gothic Print Finishers Ltd. where the title on front was more red than yellow).

Condition (using Record Collector Magazine grading)
I have tried to provide good quality large pictures of the album and sleeves. Please take the time to click through them and satisfy yourself of the quality of this LP. The pictures should speak for themselves.
Vinyl = NEAR MINT: The record has been played once or twice but is still in near mint condition. Even in bright daylight I can’t see any scratches on the vinyl. I have play-tested the album and there is absolutely no discernable lessening in sound quality. It’s also a good quality pressing with very little background noise.
Cover = EXCELLENT: The cover sleeve is in excellent condition with only slight wear consistent with age.
Lyrics Sheet = EXCELLENT: The additional colour lyrics sheet is in excellent condition with only slight wear consistent with age.
Note
The record will be very well packaged and sent Royal Mail Small Parcel, which is the cheapest option.
