Description
This is the 1981 Mobile Fidelity UHQR audiophile reissue of the 1974 Supertramp classic 'Crime of the Century', This is MFSL catalog number MFQR 1-005 pressed on JVC Super Vinyl. A widely revered recording by legendary Ken Scott, this UHQR pressing brings extraordinary fidelity to a legendary album.
Item has been opened but overall in excellent shape. The vinyl has been ultrasonically cleaned and is in great sounding EX condition, with overall very little surface noise, with some minor pops on the lead in to Dreamer on the second side. Includes all the original contents including the two foam inserts, rice paper sleeve, technical spec sheet, certificate of authenticity, the inner 'Original Master Recording red header' cover, and the white cardboard inner sleeve. The outer box cover and inner contents are overall in VG condition, with some scuffing and wear on the outer cover, and rough edges and a seam split on the inner 'red header' cover. There is also a 'LAST' vinyl treatment sticker on side 1 of the vinyl label. Please see included pics for more details on condition.
