Supertramp OZ Import Half speed master Audiophile LP Crime of the century NM
Rare Australian Import Half Speed master Audiophile LP released in 1978 on A&M Records. Cat number on record label: SPJ3467. Stunning sound quality from this Japanese pressed, Canadian released Audiophile album. This rare title was an Australian import copy which features Cat number: L35426 on standard Crime of The Century cover, on back of plastic sleeve has the cat number: L89019.Supertramp came into their own on their third album, 1974's Crime of the Century, as their lineup gelled but, more importantly, so did their sound. The group still betrayed a heavy Pink Floyd influence, particularly in its expansive art rock arrangements graced by saxophones, but Supertramp isn't nearly as spooky as Floyd they're snarky collegiate elitists, an art rock variation on Steely Dan or perhaps a less difficult 10cc, filled with cutting jokes and allusions, best heard on "Bloody Well Right." This streak would later flourish on Breakfast in America, but it's present enough to give them their own character.

There are a few very light spindle marks on labels. Record is in Near Mint condition. Cover is in Excellent condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.

Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
