The Supremes, With Love From Us To You
1965 UK pressed Motown Records mono LP, TML 11002.Earliest 1N/1N matrix suffixes.
One of a small handful of LPs I acquired from a private collection which had clearly been hardly played and very carefully stored for the last fifty years or so.
A beautifully clean strong near mint issue. Just one spider trail mark visible at one centre spindle area and none visible to reverse side. General appearance suggests played a couple of times, perhaps even less. Vinyl surfaces have a rich as new lustre still and are free of any marks. Labels are also bright and glossy and still with that as new appearance.
EMITEX inner liner in undamaged, crisp and bright condition. The LP has clearly hardly ever been removed from the inner as suction is still present when trying to remove it.
Sleeve also exceptionally well preserved, and retaining that lustre so often lost over the years. Free of sticker marks or inscriptions, and without any surface dinks or hairlines. Crisp razor sharp extremities and entry side. Tips, extremities and spine in perfect shape. Some ever so slight whitening visible to very edge of front panel near entry side is from manufacture and not rubbing or wear.
Short of finding an unplayed stock copy which has been stored perfectly, this is without a doubt a final upgrade copy. Especially considering that this is only the Supremes second UK album, and the condition that UK Motown LPs tend to turn up in, there can't be very many out there like this.
