Description

This is part of a big auction full of rockabilly record from Checker, Decca, Imperial and several very small label.  Great stuff that doesn't come up for sale often.  Many of these are promos or have original sleeves and almost all all are in great shape.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1957


Notes: Original first press, matrix number SR-5019-45re1 C.  The first of just three records released by Faire. This is just an excellent all around record. Great intro heads into some fantastic guitar work and the prototypical vibrato vocal.  Includes the rare Surf records company sleeve.

 

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Just the slightest bit of storage scuffing in the Law side. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Label is clean with no tears/stickers. This is an overall really nice copy.


Sleeve Condition: G, sleeve has a large tear across the back, there is also a small pencil number near the top. Still solid though and not brittle at all. Displays very nicely from the front.
