Susie Smith is a pseudonym for Monette Moore, a tough singer who did the rounds of the labels of the ‘20’s – Paramount, Vocalion, Victor, and Columbia all getting a piece of her. This is worn, but the surface noise sits behind the performance and further filtering virtually obliterates it completely.
