Description
For sale is a BRAND NEW, never played (see photos for proof) copy of the Suture s/t one-off EP, featuring most notably Kathleen Hanna, along with Sharon Cheslow, and Dug Birdzell. Released on Discharge records. A little-known project from the former Le Tigre/Bikini Kill-- and current front-woman of The Julie Ruin band.
An interesting and fun fact about this album is the fact that each song, the lineup varied slightly; with Kathleen drumming on "Pretty Is" + providing vox, while playing bass + vox on the 2 songs on the A-side. Sharon switches between guitar and bass, and lends lead vocals on 2 of the 3 songs. Dug both drums and plays bass (depending on song/s) on the 3-song EP.
All-in-all, for a Kathleen Hanna fan or fans of '90s riot grrl-esque punk/alternative and low-fi tunes (I hate pigeon-holing bands into genres!), this is a great item. It is also a limited, one-time pressing of 2k.
This record is special in the fact that it *is* new, never even played, proof of "the spider" still being present- yet to be poked through or removed. It isn't there for show, either-- it is inside and came with this record. It has a large hole center.

Record is literally new, and I only marked the sleeve down a bit since it has been in storage for a bit. Record itself has never been played. Both sleeve/record are Mint+ or close as it gets for something so old and random/scarce.
