CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays nicely; small hairline on side 1 (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back); tiny surface abrasions on front. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read (text is crooked) with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few divots. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Days of Open Hand, by Suzanne Vega, was produced by Anton Sanko and Vega. It won the Grammy Award for Best Recording Package in 1991. She felt trapped by industry expectation. “We worked for a whole year on that album. In the end I wasn’t really happy with it and there was this palpable sense of disappointment that we’d only sold a million copies. Now that seems really ridiculous. It felt like a crime that we didn’t sell three million!”
