Description

This very rare 10 inch is the only vinyl present of Richard Strauss Burleske in D Minor for Piano and Orchestra. This is a live recording of the 7th September 1961 at the Hall of The Palace of Culture in Bucharest on the occasion of the Enescu Festival and is the number I of the historic EFE series of the Romanian Electrecord label. The George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra is conducted by George Georgescu and the piano is played by the immense Sviatoslav Richter.
