Manufactured & released in the UK by The Gramophone Co. Ltd. in year of 1973.

Originally formed as Dave Barron and the Chariots in 1962, then became Jackie Richmond and the Chariots in 1967. Pete Oliver and Ronny Grundy joined in 1969 - the band becoming Sweet Chariot in 1970 and won the Poparama contest at Belle Vue, Manchester.

Extremely Scarce demonstration-only release 45 by the band. A side is a very humdrum pop song of its time without much to recommend (it had been a Demis Roussos B side in 1972) but the B side is something else again, an astonishing organ-driven instrumental that wouldn't have sounded out of place on a King Crimson album and which hardly sounds like the work of the same group. Zero commercial potential, of course, but highly impressive, and it's always a delight to discover a gem tucked away on a flipside such as this.

Comes in generic plain die-cut sleeve, intact four prong centre, green labels.

Hardly been played archive copy, Practically New, it shows great sheen and lustre, amazing shape !

Preserved very well for being over 40 years old !

Any that have survived will be in the condition that this one is in ?

Record Collector's Grading

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
