Description
This is the classic 2lp set Frampton Comes Alive by Peter Frampton and band, on the rare half speed master issued by the Sweet Thunder Corporation of Beverly Hills, California. It was 1/2 speed mastered from the original stereo master and pressed on high quality Teldec vinyl. This pressing was done during the 1980s. Sweet Thunder was part of the audiophile movement of the 80s and competed with Mobile Fidelity and Nautilus, among others, to produce high end vinyl. It's one of the best live shows ever recorded, and one of the biggest sellers, and this is without doubt THE best pressing of the lp ever made. Highlights include Baby I love your way, Jumpin' Jack Flash and a terrific version of Do You Feel like We Do.
The best part- the lp and cover are flawless. I don't use the "M" word for unsealed vinyl, but this copy is a real beauty. No discolorations, rubwear or flaws of any kind. The best you will see unsealed. Guaranteed!
