Here's a an original UK vinyl pressing of Syd Barrett's "Barrett" LP.  The record has been opened--the original plastic remains (it's not shrinkwrap; more like a bag), but the vinyl has NEVER BEEN PLAYED.  This was unsealed recently, and the record was only removed to take a photo of the label and check the stamper #s (explanation for this odd situation below). Textured cover (non-flipback) does has some minor creasing.  EMI box label, with first pressing matrix numbers in the dead wax (A-1G, B-1G).  Harvest Records UK.
Here's the story on this: A while back, I acquired two copies of this record: one sealed, the other unsealed.  I originally had no intention of selling either, so I went ahead and opened the sealed one (this one) so I'd have a "perfect copy" to play sometime.  As it turned out, me being the obsessive compulsive person I am, I never actually played the "perfect copy" because, well, I wanted to keep it pristine.  Because I buy records to play them--i.e., not just to collect them--it seems sort of silly for me to keep it now, as my other copy is doing just fine--it sounds amazing, in fact, as all these early UK presses do.  So here it is!  Of course, now I sort of wish I had never opened it, but at least now we all know what the matrix #s and stuff are, and that the vinyl isn't cracked or something!
Great, great record, and I cannot recommend this pressing highly enough over the 180g "audiophile" reissues.  As any real audiophile could tell you, slapping a digital mastering job onto a fat chunk of wax does not a magical-sounding record make.  Analog heaven on this one!
Whew!  I guess that's it.  Apologies for the long-windedness, but I thought the "opened-but-unplayed" thing warranted an explanation.  Thanks for looking!

*I have had trouble with packages Italy taking a very long time or never arriving at all. For this reason, I only ship to Italy via Express International, which is $25. I regret having to do this, but I just want us all to be protected.
