Description
Psychedelic genius meets childlike wonder and druggy ramblings in this 1970 seminal work by ex Pink Floyd singer/guitarist Syd Barrett, and produced by David Gilmour and Roger Waters.
There's charm aplenty and some wonderful moments, allied to a few tracks that are a painful listen, musically and emotionally.
The laminated gatefold sleeve has some minor spine creasing, corner wear and a couple of tears to the opening edge (2cm and 4cm, pictured). It grades VG+.
The vinyl has hairlines and one or two marks but practically nothing reelable – it plays through well with the odd pop and bit of surface noise. Certainly better than VG+.
Excellent plain white inner and green / yellow Harvest labels.
This looks to be a UK 2nd pressing with one EMI box on the label.
I also have Syd's album Barrett in a separate listing. Only going to increase in value – highly collectable.
