Syd Barrett - The Madcap Laughs LP SHVL 765 (EMI/Harvest, UK, 1970s?)
Early Press (2nd/3rd) With Green Harvest Labels and Boxed 'EMI'. Matrices - A-2G RT B-2G RR. Fully Laminated E.J. Day & Co Ltd. Sleeve.
Condition (I Grade NM / EX / VG+ / VG / VG- / G / F)
Sleeve - VG Still looks beautiful. The laminate is still firm, though there is some creasing, rubbing and marks. Some wear to the sleeve opening, including a small tear (3mm). Corners have some wear, particularly the top left, which has the appearance of being clipped slightly. Inside and spine look great. All in all, this sleeve is ageing pretty gracefully.
Vinyl - VG - Quite a few hairlines and scuffs, particularly under strong light. There is a long scratch on side 2 - but thankfully - it doesn't really sound much at all. Despite the fact the album is in places really quiet, this sounds fantastic. Not too much crackle (but there is some), clear sound and no critical clicks or anything like a skip or jump. There are a few clicks here and there - but they tend to be dependent on the volume of the music as opposed to overbearing it. All in all, a fantastic vintage playing copy - but not quite the required condition for a top-end collector. Definately could do with a clean, but plays well as is. POSTAGE -2nd Class Recorded Royal Mail - £4.20. For 1st Class £5.20.

- I PLAY GRADE virtually all of my items, as well as looking visually. Always read the description. It will normally tell you what you need to know.
- I remove records from their outer sleeves to avoid splitting. All records are packed in a plastic sleeve for extra protection.
