Description
Up for purchase here is a rare classic rock album, Syd Barrett’s The Madcap Laughs on SUPER RARE SECOND PRESSING HARVEST VINYL. This is the rarest of the original releases, which does include the EMI logo on label BUT STILL HAS “MADE IN GT BRITAIN” CENTERED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LABEL. This label variation was only made for a few months in 1973 before they moved to the uncentered “made” markings on the label. Crazy rare, especially in this condition.
THE LP HAS BEEN CLEANED ON A VPI 16.5, WAS TREATED FOR STATIC WITH A MILTY ZEROSTAT AND COMES IN A NEW MOFI ANTI-STATIC SLEEVE.
VINYL: VG+ (PLAY) / VG- (VISUAL)
I almost never have a two grade delta between play and visual grades but this one deserves it. An extremely enjoyable listen with some static and ticking but strongly overpowered by the loud sound. Some sections even play into NM territory. A significant number of lines and marks but only in surface level and nothing deep or feelable. Bright original gloss.

One of the nicest examples of this cover you will ever find. Structurally sound and strong corners. Tiny amounts of shelf wear and that's it. ALSO COMES WITH ORIGINAL PRINTED INNER SLEEVE.
