Description

This is my original copy of Syl Johnson Is it Because I'm Black on the red and black Twinlight label. Thick vinyl and the original machine etched pressing stamp.

I've taken lots of pictures so you can see the condition.

It's excellent and so is the cover. No splits on the seams. Some spindle marks, but clearly hadn't been played that much.

It sounds great too, with a little noise on the intro's to both sides. I'm 99% positive it's just dirt in the grooves. I've mentioned it for accuracy as it plays really well and I'm only selling as I have another copy.

This is one of the best soul albums of the 1970's. It was rumoured to have inspired Marvin Gaye to write and record What's Going On, there are certainly some similarities and crossover.

An amazing album and extremely rare to find an original copy.
