Description
Vinyl records pressed in Lebanon are extremely rare and very hard to find items in any condition, produced for a few years in the late 1960's until forced to stop by the onset of civil war in 1975. All the international artists and bands were popular in Lebanon, and only a few copies survived the last thirty years in very good condition, including limited editions of multi-colored 7" singles and unique white label samples for radio and club DJs.

This massively rare promotional disk comes from the collection of a radio Dj in Beirut during the 1960's. The commercial version was released on the RCA Victor records, which was banned in Lebanon in 1968 and the middle east for political reasons. So if you're a serious collector of rare international pressings make sure you don't miss this one here, it is very probable that it won't show up again and in any condition !!!
The record plays very well and sounds very nice throughout in spite of some visible marks from age and playing that cause some minor negligible surface noise. There are no disturbing audible effects such as repeats or skips, truly a pleasure to listen to. Like all the other records i sell on eBay this one was entirely play-graded, it is in VG+ condition.
The white labels have previous owner's name on one side written with a blue ball point pen, and two company stamps saying in french that the record is from the promotion service not intended for the general market. The titles were hand written in a lead pencil.
The original 60's type SLD sleeve is intact, as new.
The disk will be packed seperately from its original company sleeve in a high quality plain white sleeve and a polythene cover.
