Symphony From The New World (DVORAK) Hamilton Harty 5x 78 records in file set. PLEASE READ IN FULL
P&P is for mainland UK only and Excludes HIGHLANDS & ISLANDS. If you are in Highlands or Islands areas then please ask for a quote before buying. 
 

 PARTLY TESTED
Firstly I am no expert on classical music or composers. Also I am no expert in vintage vinyl records so some of my description may not be accurate, therefore please do as much of your own research as possible if you are not in the know. These have (speed 80) on the label but guessing this is actually 78 (partly tested at 78rpm) A bit of research has suggested these recordings are likely to be 1920's but could be a little before or a little after that decade. The file has a musky aroma like old books and has tatty edges and a generally worn look and feel. I believe the records are made of Shellac (vinyl). There are 5 records with recordings on both sides (10 recordings). The inner sleeves appear to have kept them in what looks like good condition. However there are marks and scratches on some of the records and these are the ones that I have tested which were not affected by the marks and scratches and played through as they should without jumping. I did not test the ones that did not have significant marks as the music is not to my taste and I didn't want to sit through it unnecessarily. The tested ones were tested on a modern turntable with 78rpm speed and had the usual gramophone crackle.

For posting they will have a certain amount of their own protection because of the file that they are in but I will be over engineering the packing for their journey by carrier if they are not being collected.
