This is a rare 2-song "ACETATE" LP disc.
Side One features The Syracuse University Marching Band performing the song "Gridiron Song"
(Mascot credited on the label" Saltine Warrior/Bill Orange").
Side Two features The Syracuse University Band + Men's Glee Club performing the song "Down The Field".
**THIS ACETATE IS NOT DATED, BUT I AM GUESSING IT IS VERY OLD - IT COULD HAVE BEEN MADE DURING THE 1930s? 1950s? 1960s? I can not be sure. Perhaps someone familiar with the school's history might know?**
**THIS ACETATE PLAYS FROM THE "INSIDE OUT", NOT THE "OUTSIDE IN" (you start playing it near the center label and it plays its way out to the edge of the disc).**
**THIS ACETATE PLAYS AT 78 RPM SPEED!**
**Disc is in FAIR condition - it plays fairly quietly and has good fidelity but does show visual signs of storage wear, as do most vintage original acetates from this era.**
**Disc was recorded at "WCCC Hartford Connecticut, Dial 1290" (as seen on the top of disc labels).
