Description
- Near mint Vanguard 4 LP box set "Beethoven 10 Sonatas For Violin And Piano (Complete)" (Vanguard SRV 300/3) featuring Joseph Szigeti on violin and Claudio Arrau on piano.
- Included is an excellent insert with details of the performers, the music and the recordings that are presented as recorded in the original monaural format.
- The four LPs look and play near mint with just a few light marks and some light occasional surface noise. Bidders should bear in mind that these were originally recorded prior to the advent of modern recording techniques so the playback will not be equal to modern studio recordings. The box is also in excellent condition with no splits or cutouts. There is a small tear on the back. The insert is near mint.

I just noticed a small scratch (about 1/8 of an inch) in a portion of Sonata # 5 (Spring). I played it and was pleasantly surprised that it was only very lightly audible. One of those "plays better than it looks" situations but I thought bidders should be made aware of it
