Description
Without doubt one of the very rarest programmes from the late 60's/early 70's Prog/Heavy Rock era/genre, this is the Programme for the Music & Fashion Festival held at Londons Olympia between May 29th and June 6th 1970 (sponsored by The Record Mirror) and featured as well as loads of "in" clothes one or two bands playing to the assembled fashion cogniscenti each day with appearances by (amongst others); Tremeloes and Tyrannosaurus Rex on May 30th,Caravan, Matthews Southern Comfort and an ultra rare appearance by Syd Barrett on June 1st, Staus Quo on June 2nd in the afternoon with Black Sabbath in the evening slot on the same day (but playing as support to the Wild Angels), Colosseum on June 3rd, Pretty Things,Rare Bird and Steamhammer on June 5th and Julie Felix and Jackson Heights on June 6th. All bands have a write-up and photo and are also featured in the Middle-Double -page running order.Good condition; Bo diddley has been crossed out in the middle bit and something unintelgible and MOVE written in,apart from that nothing else too untoward to report.
