Children Of The Revolution (1972), Rare, WHITE LABEL, Marc2
Fresh from the collection of a former record executive, who worked in the business for over 40 years.
Here is a copy of T.Rex's White Label single Children Of The Revolution.

This really is a WHITE LABEL. The origins of the termWhite Label can be traced back to vinyl records when DJs would remove the label from a popular record so other DJs would not be able to know who made the track. This is a three track 7" which also includes the songs Jitterbug Love and Sunken Rags. It comes in it's original white sleeve. The record has the name MARC2 on both sides deriving from Marc Bolan.

The song is about teenage rebellion, and upon its release, some critics blasted the song, as it marked a change in the band's overall tempo. Some even believed the song was pro-communist propaganda, based on the title alone.It was included in the film Born To Boogie, in the famous Apple Studios jam with Elton John. During the jam, Marc Bolan puts his head through a grand piano while John is playing. It was also included in the films Billy Elliot, in the scene after Billy's father confronts him about learning ballet, Breakfast on Pluto, during a dance scene, and Dogtown and Z-Boys, a documentary on the origins of skateboarding in the 1970s, during a montage of skateboarding. The song is also played in the Norwegian movie Den Siste Revejakta (The Last Joint Venture).
Condition:
The record is in Mint condition, and the sleeve is also Mint condition. It is in amazing condition for a record of over 30 years old.
