HERE is a wonderful opportunity to obtain a fabulous fully complete copy of T Rex's game-changing Electric Warrior LP.
It is extremely rare to find this package with all items present and correct these days, particularly in this condition. Only the very first few copies of Electric Warrior came complete with sticker and poster, and of these how many stickers would have been removed and discarded and how many posters would have found their way onto walls and inevitably damaged with pinholes or sticky tape.
But this set remains fully intact, with the poster so perfect I would venture it has never been fully unfolded, and certainly never flattened out. Winning this auction should give you some idea of what it would have been like to take home this amazing T Rex set on the day it came out way back in 1971.
The disc is in EX condition, with both labels showing only moderate traces of spindle activity, and only the very lightest of marks detectable on both sides of the vinyl when examined under strong halogen lighting.
The unlaminated matt black E J Day sleeve, which is notorious for wear, is in strong VG condition, in fact one of the best I have seen, despite some almost unavoidable light edgewear and cornerwear. This cover sports a fine unblemished example of the rare poster sticker - no fingernails have ever attempted to dislodge this sticker from its perch.
The rare Marc Bolan poster has clearly never seen a wall, and in my opinion has never been fully opened; there's no pin holes, sticky tape or Blu-Tak residue, no unsightly fingermarks, no stains, no foxing, no writing, no rips, no tears, no creased corners, no chunks missing, no nothing that generally afflicts these iconic pop posters. This is that rare beast - a perfect poster.
The custom inner sleeve, with its psychedelic drawings of Marc and Micky, is unsplit.
