EMI - BLN 5001 - 1972 - UK 1ST PRESS A-1U & A-2U/B-1U & B-2U MATRIX
Original 1972 UK issue of this classic album.
Earliest pressing featuring both 1U and 2U matrix numbers on each side and 'Bobil' ,'Solid Gold Is Gold' and 'The Mad Monk' run-out inscriptions. The labels are the rare initial run with no mention of T Rex under the tracklisting. Comes with original 1st issue sleeve with pinched ends on the spine.

CONDITION (vinyl/cover)
EX (thick vinyl pressing; lovely copy with the labels showing very little sign of play and the disc surfaces with just a few light sleeve marks seen under strong angled light; I listened to the album in full and can confirm that the audio is superb throughout with NEAR MINT playback)
/ VG+ (the sleeve is solid and bright with no major defects - there's just a 1cm tear in the opening edge and a couple of long but mild creases on the front; the rear, the spine and the edges are all in great condition)
Inner sleeve is EX (great condition with light wear only, no splits)
