T Rex Marc Bolan Electric Warrior Ultra Rare Irish Pressing Lunar Surface Labels.
The first time this has been offered as an Irish Pressing. It is an Irish Pressing with UK labels.
The two tell tale factors that make this Irish are as follows. The lunar surface labels. Rough textured craters are commonplace on lps made in Ireland in the 70s. This is very evident on this copy particularly on the b side label. I have tried to capture this in the photo.
Also if you hold the record where the matrix Fly 6 A 2 U is held at a 6 o clock position like a clock, look at the 3 o clock position there is no stamper. Compare this to your UK Pressing and you will see a stamper. I have been selling rare Irish pressings for many years and the absence of a two letter stamper at 3 o clock features on pretty much every EMI pressed record in the 70s.
Condition wise record and sleeve are only Good. I have played the record though and it is listenable and didn't skip for me. But it was clearly a well loved record back in the day. Still the only Irish copy of this I have ever seen.
Something t rex collectors might not have seen before. Highly desirable and may not be offered again for a while.
