VINYL is NM/EX
SIDE A is NM with faintest sleeve sheen marks -not scuffs. SIDE B has two light spindle scuffs. LP plays EX+ to NM throughout. Labels are pristine with no spindle marks.
 
COVER is VG(+)
Light shelf wear, Promo punch and "For Promotion Only NOT FOR SALE" sticker on front. Also radio station call letters on front in thin ball point pen -very hard to see unless inspected closely. Inside gatefold has a mark on left panel in white background, but is otherwise super clean and bright. Seams and spine are very solid with a touch of wear along spine. No splits.

My all-time favorite Bolan material.
On A Beard of Stars Tyrannosaurus Rex has added a new level of depth to their spellbinding mythological realms, infusing compelling psychedelic electric elements -particularly Marc's fuzz Gibson guitar -along with organ and an overall fuller sound than before, yet are still deeply steeped in the mythic fairyland folk streams that make the band so unique. Mickey Finn, here for the first time, adds worlds of sweeping mysticism with his tablas, moroccan clay drums and other percussion. Plenty of Tolkienish weirdness in the air, like the songs Wind Cheetah and Dove -both bearing similarities to some of Syd Barrett's gentler solo psych paeans.

Very organically grounded, yet taking flight into ensorcelled psychedelic territory. From the pagan chant of Pavilions of the Sun to the druidish Dragon's Ear and the mythic bard musings of A Day Laye and Lofty Skies, ...the Hobbitish Woodland Bop ...clear up to the wizardly incantations of By The Light of the Magical Moon and Fist Heart, Mighty Dawn Dart, through the stunning electric immersion of Elemental Child, Tyrannosaurus Rex had clearly ignited a sorcerous flame that would never again burn with quite the same eldritch light.

All records packed with vinyl (inside inner sleeve) behind cover - and shipped in strong LP mailer boxes with bubble-wrap around all sides - sandwiched between stiff corrugated flats for best protection in the mail.

Most of my customers prefer Media Mail because it is very cheap. Please keep in mind that it's cheap because it is SLOW; most Media Mail packages take a week to travel 30 miles and around two weeks to travel cross-country. Sometimes it can arrive cross-country in 5 days - sometimes it takes a month. Due to Postal Service conditions, the actual arrival time cannot be known in advance.
