T2 - IT'LL ALL WORK OUT IN BOOMLAND
1970 UK 1st press prog gem - very nice copy with the impressive STEREO audio quality being a real highlight
Year/Label : 1970 UK DECCA Label number : STEREO SKL 5050 Matrix numbers : ZAL-9702P-4W, ZAL-9703.P-2W (earliest) Stampers : 1 1 / 1 MA solid very good plus (VG+) condition vinyl - in normal daylight the vinyl comes across as near perfect, gleaming with a beautiful jet black sheen. With closer inspection under a bright light a few extremely faint paper scuffs come into view on each side of the vinyl and on side 1 there are four noticeable (when viewed closely in a good light) scuff lines, the most noticeable two of which I have photographed - all strictly surface only and purely superficial, having no impact upon the excellent sound quality at all. Each label is excellent with all silver text and the matt dark blue background remaining perfectly intact, the only blemishes being a few very faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label. The condition of the original UK front-side only laminated Moore & Matthes printed outer sleeve is very good (VG). The edges remain firm, largely unscuffed with just some intermittent light scuff "nicks" and 2cm of scuffing on the bottom edge next to the left corner. The spine is firm also with all spine text intact, and the iconic front side design remains very nicely intact retaining vibrant colouring, and the reverse side text/photos/art work remains well defined and with no unwanted writing. There is some minor laminate creasing on the front side, however, some mild ring wear on both sides, and some light general handling and storage wear on the reverse side - again, see photos. Not perfect by any means but a solid very good and remaining both presentable and fully functional. The audio quality is excellent (EX) with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, clicks, interference, or distortion and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum - very occasional, very light and background, and not intrusive. Track 1 in particular is a real prog mindblower with terrific guitar solos and top notch stereo audio quality! Comes with original and excellent condition poly-lined DECCA inner sleeve, correctly dated with no seam splits, no opening edge fraying, and barely any creasing or age discolouration - perfect again!
Highly acclaimed prog rock - under the radar and barely sold at the time of it's original release, hence it's rarity now.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
