 Up for auction is a super rare 12" single from TAALAM

12" was released on Hyper Thrust Records -- with a 201 area code, it appears to be out of Northern New Jersey.

Absolutely Killer late 80s NY style hip hop from TAALAM - a northern New Jersey rapper (most likely from the Newark/Jersey City area)
FUNKY DRUMMER by TAALAM is definitely my personal favorite of the late 80s/early 90s style random/indy rap cuts and is just a top notch track in any regard -- put this up to nearly any hip hop from the golden age era and this stands up with the best of them!
FUNKY DRUMMER has a killer loop with James Brown's 'funky drummer' a dubby/echo effect during the chorus and of course as he says it himself -- survey says TAALAM is one of the best MCs with smooth delivery!
'Funky Drummer - the Hip Hop Fanatic Version' goes crazy with sampled percussion. 'Good News: A Chariots Acomin' has a frantic paced feel with some mighty heavy samples (another JB sample in the mix amongst several others)
This was a double in my collection of deep random rap cuts--- so I am letting go of this one!
