The effects of listening to a Direct-to-Disc recording are always stunning. But, when you listen to one done "live," before an active audience, the feeling of "being there" increases ten-fold. Quite extraordinary.
This is the Crystal Clear release from their "Live Audience Series," of Taj Mahal, a great jazz/rock fusionist, whose presence on mic is startlingly real. Selections include TAKE A GIANT STEP, AND WHO, AIRPLAY (fantastic), LITTLE BROWN DOG, and JORGE BEN, among others.
This copy has a cover still in shrink (with a cut corner); inside, is the very heavy, German pressing in near-mint shape. Beautifully tended vinyl.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
