I HAVE PLAYED THIS RECORD TONIGHT BEFORE PUTTING ON EBAY (ON A BUSH MTT1 TURNTABLE (MONO SETTING THROUGH A YAMAHA AMP) WITH A STANDARD ARM AND NEEDLE (NO COINS OR SIMILAR WEIGHTS)) AND IT PLAYS LOVELY. I HAVE GRADED THE VINYL VERY GOOD ++ AS THERE ARE A FEW VISUAL SCUFF TYPE MARKS ON THE VINYL. THESE ARE NOT SCATCHES OR PITS AND THEY, TO MY UNTRAINED EAR, DO NOT AFFECT THE PLAY OF THE VINYL AS THERE ARE NO JUMPS, POPS OR LOUD BACKGROUND SOUNDS THAT DETRACT FROM THE MUSIC. I HAVE ONLY GIVEN THE RECORD A LIGHT CLEAN. I DO NOT KNOW IF YOU CAN POLISH THE SCUFFS OUT BUT HAVE DECIDED TO LEAVE WELL ALONE AS IT PLAYS GREAT.
THE COVER HAS A LITTLE SLIGHT CONTACT WEAR ON THE FRONT BUT THERE ARE NO RIPS, NO DAMGE TO THE SPINE, NO LIFTING OF THE LAMINATE, NO WRITTING ON FRONT OR BACK. THE BACK OF THE COVER IS CLEAN AND BRIGHT. OVERALL VERY LITTLE THAT DETRACTS FROM THE EXCELLENT CONDITION.
A VERY RARE RECORD THAT RARELY APPEARS ON EBAY.
NOTE: ALL THOUGH I USE THE RECORD COLLECTOR GUIDE FOR GRADINGS BELOW I USUALLY GRADE DOWN SO THERE IS NO QUESTION OF DISAPPOINTMENT FOR YOU THE BUYER. IF NOT HAPPY I WILL REFUND YOUR MONEY LESS THE POSTAGE COSTS.
MINT : The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet,booklet or poster are in perfect condition.Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be mint.
EXCELLENT : The record shows some signs of having been played,but there is very little lessening in sound quality.The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD : The record has obviously been played,but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,without any major defects,is acceptable.
GOOD : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated ,perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges,spine splits,discoloration,etc.
FAIR : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise;it may even jump.The cover and contents will be torn,stained and / or defaced.
