Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE & ARTIST: "Take Me Out to the Ball Game/The Umpire" - by Phil Rizzuto, Tommy Henrich, Ralph Branca and Roy Campanella along with Mitch Miller and Orchestra on the Little Golden Record label (sR 107), in beautiful original monophonic sound, issued circa 1952.
CONDITION: SLEEVE - EX(Original sleeve has light corner wrinkles and some light age/rub/ring wear - please see actual record in photos); RECORD - EX(This record is bright yellow with very few marks, especially considering its age and target market; SPECIAL NOTE: the label is partially torn around the hole on the "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" side - visually graded under special daylight balanced spotlight).
SPECIAL FEATURES: Now for some FUN! This 7" Little Golden record was issued circa 1952, and featured baseball stars Phil Rizzuto, Tommy Henrich, Ralph Branca and Roy Campanella along with Mitch Miller's Orchestra playing two VERY memorable baseball songs: "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" and "The Umpire". It is in excellent condition considering its age and "child play" designation. The cover of the sleeve, with its wonderful full-color paintings of the four players/singers with their printed autographs, is in superb shape, as is the great golden record. If you love the world of children's baseball records from more than a half-century ago, please don't miss this one.

SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
