Description
Jason’s Official BPI Platinum Award for ‘Babe’
This is Jason Orange’s genuine BPI British music industry Platinum Award for the single, ‘Babe’. This award is in a silver metal frame measuring 16x16 inches (41x41cms) and is in good condition. There are some small scratches on the frame, and a very small ‘crease’ on the silver background, but nothing noticeable once it’s hanging on the wall. The plaque mounted below the record includes the BPI logo and the following text:
Presented to
JASON ORANGE
to recognise sales in the United Kingdom
of more than 600,000 copies of the
RCA
single “BABE” 1994
BPI (British Phonographic Industry) awards are the British equivalent of American RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) awards, and are only presented to artists, producers, record companies and others in the music industry that contributed to the success of a record. This is an official music industry award and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ discs that are sold direct to the public.
One of the ultimate pieces of Take That memorabilia.
Please see my other items for more rare awards from the music industry including a very cool Robbie Williams Award.
