TAKESHI TERAUCHI & THE BUNNYS "Let's Go Boogaloo" b/w "Summer Boogaloo"

Plays VG+ with light surface
KILLER wired Japanese fuzz psych single from the late 60's, cleary inspired (okay, "stolen") from Hendrix and the Kinks and given the GS treatment. "Let's Go Boogaloo" starts with a buncha Japanese kiddies shouting "yee-haw!" and suddenly we're launched into a rousing fuzz-infested Asian take on "Spanish Castle Magic" that might've had Jimi's lawyers on the phone had they heard it (or watched BATTLE ROYALE). Flipside "Summer Boogaloo" starts out like some long-lost First Wave Of British Heavy Metal gem, adds in some sparkling organ and then nicks an early Kinks garage punk riff and twang guitar before trying to disguise 'em underneath indecipherable Japanese vocals. Because Ray Davies' lawyers DID listen to this stuff, and were also big fans of King Ghidorah.
