Description

The follow-up to Takeshi's classic "Rashomon"...whereas that was a full-on psychedelic ancestral memory trip, with deep excursions into expansive and amped-up arrangements of Japanese folk melodies, this one is more aggressive, possibly even heavier with grimey, driving riffage/virtuoso twang. This era of his recordings is still unsung, I think, being arguably the missing link between  Shadows inspired "Eleki" bands of '60's Japan and the 70's/80's generation of extreme psych/noise guitarists (Kaji Heino etc.). Original Japanese pressing King Records  SKD32 Late '60's/early '70's.
