Description
This is an original pressing of the rare soundtrack for the film TAKING OFF by MILOS FORMAN on DECCA RECORDS in 1971 ( DL 79181 ). The film by UNIVERSAL PICTURES starred BUCK HENRY and featured CARLY SIMON as an audition singer ( she's track 5 on this LP ). There is a warning sticker on the front cover that states "NOTICE BAND 6 -- SIDE 1 IS X-RATED SUGGESTED FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY". Might I say that the lyrics to "ODE TO A SCREW" by MARY MITCHELL are quite ... risque !!!
The vinyl is in excellent condition with a few minor scuffs on both sides. It is still shiny & plays great. The cover has some wear on the spine, corners and edge ( see photos ).
