Welcome to a review/description of what is a Holy Grail (Or perhaps a RING) amongest that select few of "Extreme Record Geeks" who spend their lives on a quest for an ultimiate rareity.

With less than 100 copies pressed this is something that can only be described as "ODD".

Tales Of Tolkien a Rock Opera by Iwo & Barbara Zaluski,backed by(wait for it)..... the Staff and pupils of Park Lane Primary School from Wembley (you thought i was going to say Genesis or Van Der Graaf Generator).

Dont be fooled this is a typical mid seventies pop/prog rock influenced album that has obviously been well thought out by the Zaluski's.Aside from that this has the TOLKIEN factor,because apart from that Lord of the rings lp in the 70's by some guitarist that ive long forgotten there has not been a full blown Tolkien influenced Rock/Opera/Concept album.

Condition : Good with a few minor surface scratches.The plain white sleeve is split but the giant 12x24 front and back sticker that makes the cover is in good condition but someone (probley a kid from the school) has coloured in the eye/ring thing on the front.

Really Cool Bit : My copy has an advantage over the only other know copy to sell (Mint condition it sold for over £150 and that was in the late 1980's),mine is not mint but mine has the original programme that was sold at the performance,it tells you the story and even better it tells you everyone who was involved with the whole project (one artist involved has the name of Mark STONER !!!!).
