Description
Up for grabs is a hard to find copy of Tamam Shud's Evolution lp from the late 60's. This album needs no introduction to Australian record collectors...one of the most sought after rock lp's of the era! A few of the tracks featured in the classic Evolution surf movie, which unleashed the surfing of a very young Wayne Lynch to the world. Although dogged by poor recording/production...it's still considered an alltime classic...god knows how good this album would have sounded if it was recorded in a proper studio!
Cover is in (G+) condition. 2.5" centre spine split, 2.5" tear on back cover opening, misc edge/corner/shelf/ring wear. No writing/stickers/reside etc.
Vinyl is (G+). Clean, retains most of its original gloss. has lots of light marks/scuffs on both sides that cause light background noise. There's a couple of light scratches on both sides that cause intermittent ticks/pops. No skipping/sticking/hissing.....Still a very listenable copy!
Labels are (VG). Light spindle marks. Slight tearaway one Side 1, neat name in pen on Side 2.
All in all, a decent, affordable playing or display copy of this killer lp. Grab it while you can!
Item can be picked up from Mt Martha, or will post Australia wide in a cardboard record mailer for $8.95 flat rate. More for registered post and/or padded bag. Thanks for looking, good luck!
